Archways offers several prevention programs that address risk factors that may be present or protective factors that are inadequately developed. Archways is a prevention leader in Broward County and offers programs in collaboration with other agencies, churches, and schools to hundreds of youth and adults each year.

Get Real About Violence targets the attitudes and behaviors that underlie a wide range of violence, from bullying at early ages to criminal assault in later years. It teaches social skills that help young people avoid violence. It emphasizes the importance of bystanders as well as perpetrators and victims and reinforces students' nonviolent norms and promotes.

Promoting Education and Awareness in Community Environments (P.E.A.C.E.) promotes health, wellness and substance abuse awareness. It offers a curriculum formatted into individual, group, or interactive classes which focuses on self-esteem, values, communication, assertiveness, feelings, anger management, conflict resolution, stress management, alcohol and the family, street drugs, over-the-counter drugs, and the disease concept.

Fatherhood Initiative

Getting fathers involved is essential for happy, healthy, well adjusted children and families. When dads aren’t involved, children are more likely to: engage in drugs, alcohol, violent crimes, and other harmful behaviors, drop out of school, live in pretty, face teenage pregnancy, struggle with depression and contemplate/attempt suicide. The program teaches Dads the importance of being involved in their children’s lives via communication skills, values, dealing with discipline/consequences effectively, child development, and self esteem awareness. It addresses self awareness and how parents’ self esteem, values, and behaviors may be giving the wrong or mixed messages to the children. Fatherhood Initiative encourages Dad’s participation in their child’s lives as a positive role model.

Too Good For Drugs. “Too Good For Drugs” is an evidenced-based program focusing on social influence and cognitive behavior to prevent substance use.There are actually five interwoven key components that appear throughout the "Too Good For Drugs” curriculum: goal setting, decision making, bonding with others, identifying and managing emotions, and communicating effectively”. Topics are handled in a positive, age appropriate manner using cooperative learning, role playing and other innovative teaching techniques.
